I am excite!
My next EP, The Cordycep EP with Enig’Matik Records, is a few weeks out from release date. 😀 It is a 2 track EP of dark, organic, twisty-turny sounds inspired by the mind-controlling fungus ophiocordyceps, known to take over the minds and bodies of the insects it invades. The first track starts out as idm before transitioning into psy-dub, the second is heavy on the glitchy and melodic psy-dub. Both have a lot of orchestral soundtrack influence and clock in over 10 minutes a piece (oops :p ). This EP gave me a chance to be far more experimental than usual, and was a grand ol’ time to make and great learning experience.
